In recent years the Quick Hit series, created by Bally and continued by Bally’s now-owner Scientific Games, has stretched in some newer directions, layering some new play styles on the popular Quick Hit mechanic. But for players who enjoy a more classic play experience, but are looking for a more modern game, Quick Hit Volcano and Jungle are a fun pair of games that accomplish this successfully.
While both games are more traditional Quick Hit setups, they diverge when it comes to the bonus round, offering a picking scenario to kick off each bonus, but it’s what you’re picking for that differs.
But first off, the game basics: It’s a 30 line game, 30 credit increments, just like other classic Quick Hit games. I’ve seen it with $1.50 or $3 max bets on pennies, depending on the casino. Quick Hit Jungle
Quick Hit Jungle has you picking for a multiplier. There’s a wild just like on the older games, and the wild grants 5 additional free games, upgrading from the 10 by default to 15 if found. The multiplier options are 2x, 3x, 5x, 7x and 10x.
The multiplier is activated only if the winning combination includes a wild symbol. Then that pay is multiplied by the amount matched during the initial picking screen.
Like many Quick Hit games, the jackpots are only available in the base game, so you can win the scatter pays for getting 3-9 Quick Hit symbols.
You can retrigger by landing the free games symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4; like many Quick Hit games these are the only three reels these appear, either in the base game or the bonus.

Quick Hit Volcano
Quick Hit Volcano is more traditional with the picking of the number of spins. The free spin options are 7, 8, 10, 12 and 15 free spins. The wild can add 5 spins to any of these, just like on other versions.
A major difference here is that Quick Hit symbols are now wild, and the other wild symbols is off the reels. Just like Jungle there’s no progressives, but the wild Quick Hit symbols can still scatter pay along with helping the line hits out. With more wild symbols (given Quick Hit symbols are more prevalent, especially in the middle three reels where they can show up stacked), it can potentially amp up the line hits.
You can retrigger by landing the free spins symbols again, which appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 like many Quick Hit games.
