Moneyline: Crazy Simple Game – 5 Paylines, Get The Symbols in a Row

Everi takes a swing now and then in breaking the more conventional format of slot machines and offering something a bit different.

Moneyline isn’t quite as far out there as games like Lightning Zap or Crush, but it does tinker with the format in various ways. This game actually has paylines, unlike the previously mentioned pair, making it a bit more traditional in that format, but it stacks them one on top of the other, five in all.

While you don’t have to bet all five paylines, like any game having all five lines up increases your chances of a win. Betting 5 lines on penny denomination costs 150 credits, or $1.50, so it’s a bit higher to get all lines than many games but not necessarily out of reach.

Everi describes the game as so on their site:

Money Line offers a clear bet up incentive with volatility decreasing and feature frequency increasing at higher bets and denoms. With math models targeted at both low and high denom players, Money Line can appeal to a wide range of gamblers.

Basically, if you have a symbol on the first reel and a symbol on the second of the same payline, you win the prize on the third reel of that payline, presuming one shows up. Reels 1 and 2 can feature multipliers, which will multiply the prize on reel 3.

Reel Fill Feature

One of the simplest features that can happen quite frequently is the reel fill feature. In this, reel 3 will be completely filled with prizes and wheel, so as long as a symbol appears on reels 1 and 2 of a payline, you’ll win something.

Wheel Feature

Reel 3 can feature not only cash prizes, but a wheel, which is prominently displayed above the reels. The wheel prize can be multiplied as well, presuming a multiplier on reel 1 and/or 2.

Free Spins

A free spins feature appearing fully on reels 1 and 2 will trigger a free spins bonus. You get seven free spins, and those symbols are replaced by a retrigger symbol that grants two more spins when they land fully on reels 1 and 2.

There is a limit on the number of free spins you can receive, based on the number of active paylines:

  • 1 payline: 45 free spins
  • 3 paylines: 29 free spins
  • 5 paylines: 31 free spins

This is a pretty straightforward game; the pay tables were refreshingly simple and the game itself is easy to understand. The challenge is it makes more blatant things like false wins, which on a traditional slot are more covered up by everything going on, so it can feel a bit meh pretty fast if it’s not paying.

The game has a low volatility score according to Everi, and it certainly feels that way in how it plays – there’s a lot of smaller prizes, although the big prizes are certainly in there.

RandomSlots gives this game a solid go during a session and gets a wheel spin:

VegasLowRoller played it while I was with him during a recent recording session; I wanted to play it to give the game a go for this write-up; he wasn’t enamored with the game but gave it another go starting at 11:06:
