While on the Freedom of the Seas, I was talking with another player about the game Jackpot Inferno. They said they never seemed to be able to get very far up the chain of progressives.
In the game, 5 or more Jackpot Inferno symbols trigger the Jackpot Jump bonus, and you can get credits, more picks or more Jackpot Inferno symbols. If you can trigger more in the baseline game, and/or pick enough more picks and Jackpot Inferno symbols, you can get into the upper tier of progressives, which really pay off between 9 and 12 Jackpot Inferno symbols.
One thing about the game is also that the progressives change in value based on your bet. So there is a bit of a proportionality to them.
The conversation reminded me of Diana Evoni‘s luck on them a few years back.
This lengthy video session shows a number of bonuses and quite a lot of live play recording, but it’s near the end of the video where things got interesting. She had two pretty impressive picking rounds, with the second outdoing the first.
It wasn’t her only time either – she did it again on another video a bit over a year later, getting to the same level. (For this post I’m not going to reveal the outcomes, but the prizes were roughly equal.)
It’s certainly difficult to get into the upper tier of progressives, but clearly not impossible, as seen in Diana’s videos. And the game continues to feature in many casinos, where players can have a chance at picking up their own big prize.
